I’m Phan Dang Dinh, a WordPress developer from Vietnam with over 13 years of experience building websites, optimizing performance, and crafting user-centered solutions. I am the sole developer of Rabbit Lite, a lightweight, fast, and SEO-friendly WordPress theme designed specifically for individuals, bloggers, and small businesses.

My Journey with WordPress
My experience with WordPress began back in 2011, when I built my first website for a local client. Since then, I’ve developed and customized hundreds of WordPress sites — ranging from personal blogs and portfolios to eCommerce stores and business websites.
Over the years, I’ve taken on many roles in the development process, from frontend design to backend architecture. I’ve also worked extensively on:
- Performance optimization for WordPress sites
- Custom plugin development
- Building clean, maintainable code
- Improving UX/UI for better engagement and SEO
But after working on so many different projects, I realized that the same core problem kept appearing: most WordPress themes were heavy, slow, and too dependent on third-party plugins.
Why I Created Rabbit Lite
I built Rabbit Lite to solve the very problems that frustrated me the most during client and personal projects:
- Themes were bloated with features I never needed
- They loaded slowly, even on good hosting environments
- Many required 4–5 plugins just to display basic layouts
- Customizing anything often required overriding complex code
- SEO was usually an afterthought
So I decided to stop relying on existing themes and build my own — one that I could fully control, one that was built from the ground up to be fast, lean, and SEO-focused, with no plugin dependencies.
Rabbit Lite is my attempt to bring the simplicity back to WordPress theming.
What Makes Rabbit Lite Different
Rabbit Lite is built on five core principles that guide every line of code:
- Speed First
No bloated libraries or scripts. Only optimized CSS/JS, loaded conditionally. Fast loading times on shared hosting or VPS. - Lightweight Design
No unnecessary features. No external frameworks. A clean and minimal layout that’s easy to extend. - No Plugin Dependencies
The theme works out-of-the-box. You don’t need additional plugins just to get basic features like breadcrumbs or page templates. - Built-in WooCommerce Support
You can launch a store right away. Product pages, checkout, and cart pages are all supported with clean styling. - SEO-Optimized Codebase
Semantic HTML5 structure, clean heading hierarchy, optimized metadata, breadcrumbs, and schema markup where appropriate.
Rabbit Lite is developed using the popular Underscore (_s) starter theme and strictly follows WordPress coding standards. No Tailwind, Bootstrap, or other CSS frameworks are included, keeping it fast and flexible.

- User base: Rabbit Lite is still new and currently in its first version — but my long-term commitment is to evolve it based on real use cases

Rabbit Lite is not just a one-off project. It’s something I plan to maintain, improve, and expand. Here’s what’s coming:

- Documentation: A complete guide for developers and non-tech users
- Rabbit Lite PRO (in development):
A premium version offering advanced layout controls, color schemes, additional widgets, and enhanced WooCommerce design
My vision is to create a professional-grade theme that remains lean, stable, and sustainable — even in its PRO version.
About Me – The Developer
As a developer, I focus on three key values:

I personally write every line of code in Rabbit Lite, review every template, and ensure that the theme can grow with your website — without locking you in.
Although Rabbit Lite is a solo project, I treat it like a long-term product with the same standards as professional commercial themes.
